HOW IT WORKS

One question.
Everyone's answer.

Each day, everyone answers the same question in Irish. Write yours, get it corrected, then see how everyone else said it. Ten words or a paragraph. It works at any level.

  1. 1

    A new question every day

Every day there's one question in Irish, with the English translation underneath. If you're not sure how to begin, there are a few sentence starters to use.

  2. 2

    Write your answer

Answer with one sentence or a few. Beginners can keep it short, and more advanced speakers can write as much as they like. Mixing in some English is fine. Write something you'd actually say.

  3. 3

    Get a correction

Your answer comes back corrected, with each change explained in plain English. You'll also see a score and one thing you got right.

  4. 4

    See how everyone else answered

Once you've answered, you can read everyone else's answers to the same question. You'll see answers from learners at every level, plus teachers when they've answered. Pick up a phrase you didn't know, or see a different way to say what you said. Today's answers open up after you post yours.

  5. 5

    Practise what you save

Save the sentences you want to remember, whether you wrote them or someone else did. In practice, you see the English and write it in Irish from memory, then check your answer.
